Painting & Decorating
The Painting & Decorating apprenticeship covers a variety of skills including efficient working practices, assembling and dismantling working platforms, applying paint systems by brush and roller and producing decorative specialist paint finishes.Other skills that painting and decorating apprentices will learn include health and safety issues, gaining knowledge of building methods and communicating with others. Apprentices will also learn how to prepare different surfaces for decoration and apply wallpaper to walls and ceilings. There will also be opportunities to produce decorative finishes using specialist techniques.
