Engineering
Engineering apprenticeships, leading to a nationally recognised qualification are highly desirable.
They not only provide an excellent grounding in fitting, turning, milling, grinding and electrical work, they lead to stimulating careers in the manufacture of tooling, CNC programming and setting, the installation & commissioning of plant, and machine maintenance.
Work for an employer four days a week and spend one in college to ensure you acquire a blend of practical experience and theoretical knowledge.
