17th Edition Wiring Regulations

The 17 th edition of the IEE wiring regulations is due to be published in January 2008 and will come into effect in July 2008.
From then on all commercial, domestic and industrial wiring installations must be designed to the specification laid out in BS7671: 2008.
If you or your company are involved in design, construction, inspection and testing of electrical installations of any kind you must hold the new 17 th Regs qualification by July 2008.

The Courses

We are offering a series of 1-day refresher (2382-20) and 3-day full qualification courses (2382-10). Both courses are run from our conference and training centre in Little Germany, Bradford and are accredited by City & Guilds. Candidates are assessed via a multiple-choice on-line GOLA test at the end of each course.

Which Course?

2382-20

Candidates who already hold the 16 th edition qualification and passed this after June 2001 can re-qualify on the 1-day refresher. Sight of the original certificate is required before candidates can embark on the course. Failure to do this will prevent candidates from completing the course, as the GOLA test requires the delegate to input their certificate number to access the system.

2382-10

Candidates who passed the 16 th edition before June 2001 or have yet to pass the 16 th edition must take the 3-day full qualification.
