18th Edition Wiring Regulation
The 18th Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations launched on 2 July 2018. This update, also
known as BS 7671:2018, provides an opportunity for all electricians to get fully up to date with the
latest industry standards.
This City and Guilds Level 3 (18th edition) requirements for Electrical Installations (2383) is an essential
electrical qualification which is aimed at practicing electricians, associate trades and those who are looking
to update their existing qualification whilst also providing a user with an updated and improved
understanding of the IET Wiring Regulations.
This course is offered over a 3 day period.
2391 Inspection and Testing
This course leads to the City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing. (The course replaces the City & Guilds 2394/5 qualifications).
The course is aimed at practicing electricians who wish to gain qualifications in initial verification as well as periodic inspection, testing and reporting and is intended for experienced electrical installers who have previous training and experience of inspection and testing.

ITIL – ITIL describes processes, procedures, tasks, and checklists which are not organisation-specific nor technology-specific, but can be applied by an organisation toward strategy, delivering value, and maintaining a minimum level of competency. It allows the organisation to establish a baseline from which it can plan, implement, and measure. It is used to demonstrate compliance and to measure improvement. There is no formal independent third party compliance assessment available for ITIL compliance in an organisation.
