Once we receive your application form, we will invite you in to City Training Services for an initial assessment and interview.
Initial Assessment: The initial assessment is a short online test which assesses your Maths, English and IT skills. The results of these tests determine which apprenticeships and which levels you are eligible for.
Interview: Providing you have met the benchmark level for an apprenticeship, you will then be interviewed by a member of the City Training team. These interviews are an opportunity for you to ask any question you have about apprenticeships. Our interviewers will ask you some questions about the course you wish to start and discuss the next steps with you.
Providing you meet the entry requirements, our recruitment team will take over. They will develop your CV and put you forward for apprenticeship vacancies in the industry you have applied for.
If an employer likes the look of your CV, our recruitment team will arrange an interview for you. They will then help you prepare for it by offering tips, tricks and interview technique training.
Fingers crossed you get the job! But if not, we will be on hand to find you another employer.
