At City Training Services – Bradford College’s apprenticeship provider, we work with local and regional schools and academies to raise the awareness of apprenticeships and ensure young people are aware of all the pathways available to them after they leave school.
Every year we attend over 100 events held at schools and academies across the region. We can work together in a number of different ways including:
Our apprenticeship talks can be delivered to a classroom of thirty students or to an assembly of hundreds. They are a great way of introducing students to apprenticeships and can be followed by a short Q&A to give the students a chance to ask questions. They typically last from 15-30 minutes.
These workshops cover CV building and interview techniques as well as an introduction to apprenticeships covering the choices available and essential information like required grades. Perfect for groups of between 10 and 30 students.
We attend over 100 events at schools across the region, setting up a stand and talking to students about apprenticeships. Events include careers fairs, parents evenings and results days.
We have a range of educational materials about apprenticeships and traineeships from leaflets and posters to prospectuses and videos. We can supply your school with these for display and distribution..
