We would like to inform you about planned UCU strike action that will impact teaching on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 November at Bradford College main sites.
(City Training Services, Forster College, the IT Learning Centre in Centenary Square and community learning centres will operate as normal.)
Despite on-going discussions with trade union representatives, the UCU national strike action will impact planned lessons over these dates (28 and 29 November).
We have made the very difficult decision to close the College to students in order to minimise disruption and to enable students to make alternative arrangements for their learning.
All planned lessons will be cancelled on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 November to accommodate the strike action. The College will open as normal on Friday 30 November.
Students can access their learning and teaching resources via the Learner Portals and Moodle. See links below:
CTS will be open as usual on 28 & 29 November, and all apprentices and their employers will be contacted directly by City Training Services. Apprentices should attend as normal.
Forster College will be open as usual and students should attend as normal.
