Job Title: Business Admin apprentice
Job Description:

Monitoring / Evaluation Duties



To support the Finance Administrator to collate monitoring information for the projects using Access database, producing reports and queries.



To develop, manage and maintain appropriate records in order to contribute to a high standard of quantitative and qualitative data and appropriate service user feedback.



Ensure information is stored securely and is compliant with the Data Protection Act.



Contribute to preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports



Administration / Information Duties



Assist Finance Team in accounts recording and preparation



To offer administrative support to the office in General



Actively participate in team meetings, supervision and periodic personal development reviews.



Undertake appropriate training.



Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required



Sound knowledge of computer packages including Publisher, Excel, Access and Word



Willing to learn new skills and undertake appropriate training



Able to manage own time

The ideal candidate must be able to process information and be articulate in completing applications and undertake dictation accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls

• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments

• Assist in the preparation of applications/letters

• Take dictation

• Research

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications

• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

• Cover the reception desk

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

• Photocopy and print out documents on behalf of other colleagues

Requirements:

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Attention to detail and problem solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Proficient in MS Office

Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Weekly Schedule: Day release at City Training Services
Weekly Wage: £225

Course Title: Business Admin Level 2
Course Duration: 18 months
