|Job Description:||Successful candidates will work be working with the sous chef on the larder section kitchen and will gain hands on experience in the day to day duties involved in working in a professional kitchen.
Duties and topics covered across the role will include:
Modern cooking techniques
Roasting and braising techniques
Plating and presentation skills
Assisting on prep days and preparing ingredients for senior staff
Baking and homemade desserts
Preparing meat, fish and poultry
Responsible for making dishes on time and to the required standard
Work in a clean, tidy and safe manner
Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times
Actively seek to improve skills and achieve personal development
Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Comply at all times with the Company staff code of conduct
