Job Information

Job Title: Apprentice LGV Class 2 Driver
Job Description: • Dealing with customers in a polite and professional manner at all times

• Checking your vehicle on a daily basis

• Make sure your load is safely secured and not overweight

• Collecting and delivering goods

• Updating delivery records, using a hand-held computer (DSC)

• Completing delivery paperwork

• Returning undelivered items to your base.

• Completing various pallet collections on route to base

Your vehicle could vary in size, depending on the load. You may be required to drive vans that are 3.5 tonnes or less, but you might also drive vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes before obtaining your Class 2 licence.

Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Weekly Schedule: Masterclasses at Viamaster training
Weekly Wage: £220

Course Title: LGV Driver
Course Duration: 13 months
