|Job Description:||An exciting apprenticeship opportunity has arisen at Peel Park Primary School and Nursery,They are looking for a motivated individual who is looking to start a career in Support Teaching and Learning as an apprentice.
The successful candidate will have to perform a range of different duties on a daily basis, tasks would include:
-To assist in the provision of an external/internal reception service to the school, helping with personal or telephone enquiries.
-To assist in the provision of confidential secretarial, word processing, financial and other support services to the school as directed by the School Administrator, and Headteacher.
-To assist in the provision of reprographics services including monitoring of stock levels and re-ordering materials as required.
-To assist with arrangements for school medicals and photographs.
-To assist in the maintenance of records, documentation and financial systems relating to school visits, learning mentor finances and school uniform stock levels and sales.
-Check off deliveries against orders and delivery notes.
-To assist with banking enabling account and other school monies at least weekly.
-To assist with pupil registers including marking children who are late and use of the Optical Mark Reader.
-To maintain and update all necessary pupil records, personal information and data entry of pupil assessments, using manual and computerised systems.
-To be responsible for ensuring that letters relating to individual pupils are sent out and copies kept in pupil record files.
-To support, uphold and contribute to the development of the school equal rights policies and practices in respect of both employment issues and the delivery of services to the community.
-To contribute to the efficient running of the school by contributing to the development of office systems to meet changing needs and improvements to the services provided.
-May from time to time be required to undertake other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility defined in this job description.
