Job Information

Job Title: Childcare Apprentice
Job Description: Provide intimate care as required such as toileting, nappies etc

Support children when eating and drinking

Alert teachers/parents to any change in medical conditions

Oversee use of specialist equipment and ensure it stays fit for purpose

Liaise with the SENCo on a regular basis

Provide reports, where needed, for internal use and for external agencies

Liaise effectively with parents on a daily basis

Be prepared to undertake any specialist training required eg epi-pen, manual handling etc

Report all safeguarding concerns to the Deputy Safeguarding Lead

Course Title: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Chilcare
Course Duration: 12-24 Months
